Running……….probably the best thing in the world!


I am a runner. I have been since I can remember.  As a kid, our family days out would involve  going to a running race. Mum, dad, my two sisters and I would all participate. Back then my friends thought this was quite an odd thing to do but to us it was normal…….and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Even today running is my thing. For me there is nothing more enjoyable that going out for a run…especially now I live in this amazing country where there are so many interesting places to explore.

I wanted to write a blog to share this love of running. I am aiming over the next few weeks to post some blog pieces looking at training ideas, running techniques, injury prevention , motivation and some experiences I have had in my 20 years of running.
